This is a sad, but a true story.
Andi had killed another plant before because he had forgotten to water it. Thus, when he saw these tulips, he made it a personal challenge to keep them alive. Unfortunately, unlike his previous plants, tulips prefer a drier environment. Ironically, it was the excess watering that ended their lives.
This was the death of my very first potted plant, a gift from my aunt Annie. It lasted 5 days. Great.
Now whenever I want to tease Andi, I like to remind him of the plants he killed. *evil laugh* He does the same to me, with L’Occitane soap. Long story.
